Build Creative Confidence
This 2.5-hour workshop on clearing your creative blocks will help you gain better creative self-awareness.
If you’ve ever noticed yourself thinking or feeling any of these things, you might be struggling with a creative block:
What I make has to be perfect, otherwise it’s not worth my time.
I doubt my talents and skills, and I don’t think I’m good enough.
I want to be creative, but I don’t know how to do it.
I have an idea, but I don’t know where to start.
I start projects but then abandon them, and I’m not sure why.
I don’t have enough time to be creative.
I give all my energy to something else (my job, my family, my friends … ), so I don’t have any energy left for making things.
Even experienced artists, writers, musicians, and designers may face creative blocks.
By understanding the elements of creativity, and building creative self-awareness, you can become empowered to work through those blocks and tap into your unique artistic expression.
Why I’ve created this course
I am an artist and educator on creative expression. I’ve created this course after struggling with my own challenges around making and self-expression.
As an experienced design educator, I have helped students from a range of creative and non-creative backgrounds tap into and express their artistic power.
I want to share what I’ve learned through my own journey and empower others to realise their unique creative expression.
About the course
The session includes an introduction to frameworks for understanding creativity, followed by activities and exercises to inspire creative self-awareness and intrinsic motivation.

What you'll walk away with
During the session, you will assemble a creative action plan containing a status check of your current creative energy and outline of your key creative ambitions, supported by first steps to get you on your way.
Who's it for?
This class is appropriate for anyone keen to explore their creative potential either personally or professionally.
